20/07/2013 · Taskbar and Desktop missing (not interactive): As stated try to run ‘explorer’ or ‘explorer.exe’ with the taskmanager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) -> File > New Task (Run…). Sometimes the explorer.exe is not fully crashed. Then just another file explorer will show up but the taskbar will still be missing.
