Since upgrading to gigabit service I have been receiving slow download speeds. I upgraded to an SB8200 to attempt to solve the problem, however I'm still only getting 300-500 down / 20 up over direct ethernet connection to the modem. I have tested using the xfinity speed test as well as the Ookla one, and have tested it almost every day at different times of the day in different locations of my house. The actual download speed is around 115mbps but the upload speed is merely 4mbps, that is only 3% of what is claimed to be. I understand that because Comcast use Coaxial Cable to transfer data so upload will be slower than download but a 4mbps is unacceptable speed!
